Neusoft Reach NeuSAR Successfully Adapts to Tongxin Micro's Second-Generation THA6 Series Automotive Domain Control Chip

Publication time:2024-08-30

Recently, Neusoft Reach's foundational software platform product, NeuSAR, became the first in China to successfully adapt to Tongxin Micro's second-generation THA6 series automotive domain control chip. The two parties will further focus on the higher safety and faster real-time response capabilities required by the new automotive E/E domain architecture, providing localized hardware and software solutions that meet the high performance and new application scenarios of smart vehicles.

Neusoft Reach places great emphasis on the collaborative development of domestic hardware, software, and ecosystem construction. Its independently developed software platform, NeuSAR, not only supports globally mainstream chips but has also undergone extensive mass production verification. Furthermore, Neusoft Reach continues to collaborate with domestic chip suppliers to provide automotive manufacturers with mature and comprehensive localized integrated hardware-software solutions. To date, NeuSAR has adapted to more than 70 mainstream chips and is being used in over 40 mainstream vehicle models worldwide, helping automotive manufacturers reduce vehicle development costs while efficiently and conveniently implementing intelligent application innovations.

NeuSAR cCore is developed based on the AUTOSAR Classic platform standard and provides products that meet the R21-11 standard for functional safety. It satisfies the specifications of mainstream OEMs and Tier-1 application scenarios both domestically and internationally, and has been extensively validated and highly recognized in the market. The latest NeuSAR cCore 4.0 product, based on the AUTOSAR R21-11 standard, continues to evolve with a focus on multi-core deployment. It enhances communication performance, storage capabilities, and cybersecurity solutions, while introducing the NeuSAR cCore full-stack toolchain. This greatly improves tool usability and reduces integration time costs.

Tongxin Micro, with its excellent design capabilities and strong supply chain system, has strategically developed its automotive domain control product lines. Its products offer exceptional real-time performance and multi-core capabilities, supporting a wide range of applications in traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles, including powertrain, chassis, body, battery management, vehicle control, motor control, intelligent driving, gateways, and cross-domain control. These products have gained recognition from many leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

Among them, the second-generation THA6 series automotive domain control chip is on par with those from international giants. It is the first Arm Cortex-R52+ MCU in China to pass the evaluation of the SGS, an international authoritative certification body, and to receive the ASIL D Product Ready certification. The chip features ultra-large capacity, powerful peripherals, and numerous pins. With exceptional computing power and cores that provide lock-step functionality, it supports virtualization and multi-task isolation. The chip offers faster response times, stronger performance, and higher integration, providing both high-level functional safety and cybersecurity. It is perfectly suited for domain control applications and offers a comprehensive set of solutions from the chip level to the system level.

Currently, the NeuSAR cCore fundamental software platform has completed the adaptation of the NeuSAR OS for Tongxin Micro's second-generation THA6 series automotive domain control chip. It supports functions such as task scheduling, interrupt management, scheduling tables, and multi-core communication. The two parties will continue to provide safer, more efficient, and more stable localized hardware and software solutions for next-generation smart vehicles.

At the 2024 Tongxin Micro Partner Conference, Neusoft Reach officially showcased the newly released NeuSAR cCore 4.0 product, fully demonstrating the product's performance and ease of use under multi-core deployment and the full-stack toolchain. It attracted widespread attention from automotive manufacturers and industry partners.

In the future, Tongxin Micro and Neusoft Reach will continue to leverage their respective technological advantages and accumulated experience to deepen cooperation in automotive software, vehicle control MCU applications, integrated hardware-software solutions, and ecosystem collaboration, driving cost reduction while improving efficiency, independent innovation, and the mass production of domestic hardware and software solutions. Their efforts will further promote the innovative development of the smart automotive industry.
